Account Director

Client Services is a team of versatile marketers charged with driving growth and retention of our clients and Blink’s business. At Blink, the Client Services team sits at the heart of all the work we do for our clients, who look to us to lead our integrated agency team as an extension of their client teams. We are not just “account people.” Our people are expected to think, behave and function like CMOs, regardless of their title or level. That requires becoming intimate with all aspects of the client’s business, beyond just the work they hire us to do for them day-to-day.

On any given day you might

  • Oversee an account or multiple business units for a client
  • Play key supporting role in sustaining account growth, diversification and profitability
  • Play an influential role in managing client relationship health, client satisfaction, and sustained year-over-year client retention for his/her designated clients
  • Function as a strategic business partner, advisor and relationship lead for director and/or manager-level clients on her/his designated account
  • Support the efforts to qualify, assess and focus new business and new project opportunities
  • Use data to provide a sharp marketing perspective and add strategic value at every step of the creative process, on both new and existing clients
  • Serve as a key catalyst for his/her accounts. Inspires and challenges our integrated teams to deliver best-in-class strategy and creative ideas
  • Supervise, develop, train and manage performance reviews of Client Services direct reports in the Group
  • Partner and collaborate with all department and capability peers and working teams inside designated group to create smart, innovative digital marketing programs and creative work that delivers results
  • Work closely with production leadership to ensure flawless execution of programs across the account

The ideal person

  • Has experience managing client engagements at a creatively driven digital marketing agency, a client-side marketer, a start-up, and/or a technology or media platform company
  • Is comfortable working amongst integrated teams in fast-paced, creative environment
  • Exhibits passion and curiosity for digital marketing and emerging trends in social, mobile, product and service innovation
  • Has proven to be a strong contributor to creating and delivering an effective presentation

You Bring

  • 7-10 years of account management and/or digital marketing experience in an integrated marketing capacity
  • Experience in multi-channel, integrated work that demonstrates his/her versatility as a marketer and business leader
  • Experience supporting data-driven and performance-driven digital marketing programs. A knowledge and appreciation for how to apply data and analytics to the business
  • Strong aptitude for the role and impact of media, platforms and innovations in digital marketing
  • Exposure to a diverse mix of industry category verticals is a plus
